When it comes to shopping for Valentine’s gifts, I try to balance thoughtful with practical—especially for the kids. Navy already loves everything pink, and while Indie is far pickier, he does gravitate towards anything colorful (plus a sweet snack never hurts). I love finding little things that feel special but still make sense for our everyday lives—cozy pajamas, a book we can read together, or a fun craft to get into the theme. With kids, a gift doesn’t have to be over-the-top to feel meaningful; sometimes, it’s just about adding a little extra love to the things they already enjoy.
